Audrey is a glass blower with over 28 years of experience. She has been hand crafting hummingbird feeders for over 13 years. Her hands are skilled in making a consistent quality product.
We are always creating new designs and testing new ideas with our friends and family. Audrey's incredible husband, David, recently invested in a CNC plasma cutting system! This will allow us, together, to create metal and glass enameled elements to all the projects “humming” around in our heads. We can’t wait to introduce these new and unique products, once thoroughly tested.
Audrey's connection with hummingbirds, like so many people she talks with, goes back to sweet memories of her Grammy and annual visits with her family to Grammy's home in Maine when she was a kid. Grammy had hummingbird feeders just outside of her kitchen window, where her hummers would endlessly compete for Grammy’s sweet nectar. Whether we were inside the house, watching Grammy make her fresh homemade buttermilk biscuits (a beloved daily activity) or out in the yard taking turns riding with Grampy on his big tractor and ringing their bell (which Audrey always thought could be the liberty bell) in the front yard, those hummingbirds never failed to entertain her. And her Grammy LOVED them so much. We think of Grammy every time we see a hummingbird in our yard. In that way, she will always be with us (We couldn’t possibly duplicate her biscuits).
Audrey's uniquely designed hummingbird feeder has been well received for many years by hummingbirds and humans alike, from Alaska to Puerto Rico and from Nova Scotia to Southern California to Central America.
Her hummingbird feeders have been featured in Birds & Blooms Magazine, the North Georgia Coast Wild Garden Society, local Master Gardeners, regional garden clubs and scientific research projects throughout America, the beautiful 2025 International Hummingbird Society Calendar and even made it on the cover of a magazine in Turkey!
